The 2-story Research Support Building features a glass atrium-style lobby connecting two wings of offices covered by a metal panel façade. It tops the New York State requirements for energy efficiency by 15 percent and the structure is considered Green or environmentally friendly, based on the US Green Building Council, LEED rating system. The project has achieved a LEED certification for a Silver rated building.
