Through its 167 units, this building provides luxury living with indoor and outdoor amenities for seniors looking for a lifestyle change. H2M provided civil, architecture, and MEP design services for the three story, 122,000 square ft Bristal at West Babylon. The 4 acre site is located within a special flood zone making the importance of an appropriate site and building design crucial for the building’s long term durability and to maintain a high quality of life for the building residents. Special attention was given to building placement and program layout with respect to critical building systems to avoid potential damage from flooding. The building respects local zoning regulations and the adjacent residential communities in its overall layout, architectural design, material selections and beautifully landscaped grounds.
