Environmental Assessment

A confidential client engaged H2M to provide environmental assessment documentation for Phase 2 of a substation project, per the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA).

H2M’s services included the preparation of the Long Environmental Assessment Form (EAF) Parts 1-3 and expanded EAF materials, as well as the creation of visual simulations with the accompanying assessment.

H2M also reviewed electromagnetic field and noise analysis reports prepared for Phase 1 of the project and applied the findings to the Phase 2 scope of work. The team also completed GIS mapping of the new facilities associated with the project.

The project required an accelerated schedule, and H2M met all deadlines associated with deliverables and resubmissions.
