Patrick Stone Published in Fire News

Public Safety Market Director Patrick Stone, R.A., LEED AP recently wrote an article titled “Contamination Control Design,” which was published in the special Cancer in the Fire Service issue of Fire News. Thoughtful architectural design can eliminate or reduce the risk of carcinogenic exposure, thereby reducing first responders’ risk of developing cancer. In his article, Patrick reviewed the design best practices established in the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) 1585 standard.
