Under the NYC Build-it-Back Program, H2M architects + engineers was responsible for the architectural and engineering tasks necessary to replace homes and infrastructure devastated by Hurricane Sandy throughout the Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn. As a sub-consultant to the Program Manager, LiRo Group and through a collaborative effort with GANS studio, Cycle Architecture, NYCDEP, and NYCDDC, much of this area is being restructured in an effort to increase the resiliency of this unique community.
