We are thrilled to announce the strategic hiring of Kathleen Young as the Practice Leader for the Water and Wastewater Market. Her addition to our team not only strengthens our local presence in Connecticut, but also enhances our ability to serve new and existing water, wastewater, and municipal customers in the region. This is an exciting step for H2M architects + engineers and we look forward to the contributions Kathleen will make to our company.

Kathleen’s 20+ years of experience include a powerful combination of business development, sales experience, and a broad marketing foundation at companies such as Berkshire Hathaway, Nokia, and T-Mobile/Sprint. In her recent commercialization roles with start-ups FIDO Tech and KUB Technologies, Inc., Kathleen led her division in driving global sales, market penetration, and client development. She has also built a deep expert knowledge of climate, sustainability, and environmental issues as a Global Market Leader for PerkinElmer, Senior Consultant for AECOM, Environmental Permit Engineer for American Electric Power, and Environmental Auditor for the United States Department of Defense.

Kathleen has leveraged her graduate degree in mechanical engineering and her professional experience in environmental engineering to integrate sustainability and environmental compliance into our Water and Wastewater Market’s strategic decisions.

As the Practice Leader for the Water and Wastewater Market, Kathleen’s responsibilities will be crucial in fortifying and expanding our presence within Connecticut and the broader New England area.
