First up this season is the New York State School Facilities Association Conference & Expo, organized by the School Facilities Management Institute. From September 29-October 2 in Saratoga Springs, NY, you can meet Education Market Director Saverio Belfiore, AIA, and Education Market Deputy Director Michael Lantier, P.E., LEED AP, at Booth #912. H2M and several other vendors are co-sponsoring a dinner featuring comedic entertainment by Eddie Faicco. Stop by the booth to learn more!
Later in the month will be the New York State School Boards Association (NYSSBA) Annual Convention and Education Expo, from October 20-22 in New York City, NY. Lantier and Business Development Specialist William Laverty will attend. If you see them, ask them about how they can incorporate design best practices into your school.
The sister show, the New Jersey School Boards Association (NJSBA) 2024 Workshop, will be almost concurrent. From October 21-24 in Atlantic City, NJ, you can find practice leaders like Senior Architect Joseph Flynn, Ed.D., RA at Booth #823. H2M will be co-sponsoring a dinner with the New Jersey Association of Education Leaders, the New Jersey Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents, and other vendors. Come to the booth to pick up an invitation.
New to the H2M calendar of events this year is EDspaces, a conference dedicated to designing educational spaces “where students and teachers thrive.” H2M will have a large team in Houston, TX from November 12-14: Lantier; Senior Project Architect Dana Gearrity, RA, LEED AP BD+C; Senior Project Architect Kelly Kuplicki, AIA, NCARB; Senior Project Architect John Rinaldi, AIA; and Senior Project Interior Designer Megan Ballato, CID, IIDA, NYSCEO. The team is excited to make connections and explore the next big trends in educational space design.
