One of our H2Mers, Kirsten Jedd, continues to spread generosity throughout this difficult time. Kirsten volunteers her time at Mohawk Hudson Humane Society and that includes walking and playing with some of the dogs that reside at this animal shelter, as well as doing laundry and washing dishes. She also has collected donations from friends, family, and coworkers, like toys, blankets, shoe boxes for cats, and even bottle deposits.
During the COVID-19 outbreak, the Humane Society has been working hard to get as many dogs as possible into foster homes to help lighten the workload for the reduced staff. Kirsten has been getting the word out there on social media and to friends and coworkers to see if anyone would be willing to welcome a foster pet during this time.
The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society is currently running a Photo Contest and accepting donations. For more information, please visit their site at here.
Great job, Kirsten!
