H2M architects + engineers is proud to announce that Karen Benson has joined the firm as a Water Practice Leader and will be working out of our Parsippany, NJ office.
Karen is a hydrogeologist with 23 years of diverse experience working with a variety of water systems and assisting clients in navigating and responding to ongoing and ever-changing drinking water requirements. She offers significant experience working with New Jersey Water purveyors for compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). In addition, Ms. Benson has extensive experience conducting hydrogeologic investigations relating to aquifer and well yields for groundwater supply development. Her experience includes design and implementation of well rehabilitation programs; supervision and implementation of water production well design and installation; and planning, testing, and permitting of water allocation permits.
Karen graduated from Hartwick College with a Bachelor of Arts in Geology and is licensed as a Professional Geologist. Bringing her wealth of experience to H2M, Karen will assist the H2M Water Market working closely with our water clients providing project management.
