H2M wins environmental award

The New York City Brownfield Partnership recognized H2M architects + engineers for its work on 2329 Frederick Douglass Boulevard at the 2014 Big Apple Brownfield Awards Ceremony on Monday, April 28.

The project, which was awarded the Economic Development Award, received the honor for it being a successful New York City brownfield cleanup and redevelopment, having had positive effects on the community.

“The team did an exceptional job,” H2M President and CEO Rich Humann said. “I am thrilled that they are being recognized for all their effort.”

Each year, the Big Apple Brownfield Awards Ceremony recognizes project teams and individuals who have contributed to brownfield redevelopment, as well as cutting-edge brownfield projects.
